Liberty Race Location
The Liberty World Outrigger Competition launch site and grandstands will once again be at The Cove Between the Bridges at Brooklyn Bridge Park located at the foot of Main and Washington Streets in Brooklyn on the East River between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.

By Subway
Train to High Street Station
Exit to Cadman Plaza East (CPE). Walk west, toward the BQE, down the hill - CPE turns into Washington Street. Continue approximately 4 blocks to the foot of Washington Street and the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Train to Clark Street Station
Exit to Clark/Henry Street. Walk west on Henry; take a right on Middagh St. and then a left on Cadman Plaza West/Old Fulton. Walk one block to Prospect Street and turn right to walk under the Brooklyn Bridge approach. Walk one block and turn left at Washington Street. Continue approximately 4 blocks to the foot of Washington Street and the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Train to York Street Station
Head under the Manhattan Bridge approach on York Street. Turn right on Washington Street and continue approximately 4 blocks to the foot of Washington Street and the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
By Water
New York Water Taxi
The New York Water Taxi stops at Fulton Ferry Landing, right next to the River Cafe, around the corner from the Park. For ferry schedule please visit NY Water Taxi.
By Car
Please note there is no designated parking at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

From the South
New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 13, Goethals Bridge
Take 278 East about 10 miles to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
Continue on 278 which is also called the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE).
Take the BQE East about 7 miles to Tillary St.
Get off exit and make a Right at the 1st Light on Gold St.
Make a left at the 4th Light on York St. (Beware of projects in this area).
Turn right at the end on Front St.
Make a left at the first Stop sign on Main St. directly to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
From the North – New Jersey or New York State Thruway
Take the George Washington Bridge (unless coming from CT or Westchester) to the Cross Bronx Expressway to 87 South, also known as the Deegan.
Go over the Triborough Bridge and take 278, the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) West.
Take the BQE West about 8 miles to Tillary St.
Get off exit and make a right at the 1st Light on Gold St
Make a left at the 4th Light on York St. (Beware of projects in this area).
Turn right at the end on Front St.
Make a left at the Stop sign on Main St. directly to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
From the North – Connecticut or Westchester
Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to 87 South, also known as the Deegan.
