New York Outrigger is proud to present 2 very different halaus that will be showcasing polynesian dances during the Liberty 2007 Luau

Luana Haraguchi founded the Halau, “Hula O Na Mele Aina O’ Hawai’i” in 1968. Their mission is to promote Hawaiian culture in as pure a form as possible; all hula is performed in traditional style, even the contemporary Hula.

Makalina Gallagher presents Lei Pasifika which is a dance group focusing on the Islands of the South Pacific such as Tahiti, Cook Islands, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and Hawai’i.

Both halaus will be performing ~10-15 minutes per hour from 7-10pm at the Liberty 2007 Luau

So hele on down to BLVD on Saturday, June 30 from 7-10pm to join in on the festivities.
