Liberty Registration
Registration is now open for OC-6 crews and free agents who would like to participate in the Liberty World Outrigger Competition to be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008. The race divisions and classes include:
- Women’s Race: Open, Masters (40-49), Senior Masters (50+). Start Time - 7:30AM
- Men’s Race: Open, Masters (40-49), Senior Masters (50+). Start Time - 11:00AM
- Mixed Race: Open. Start Time - 2:30PM

OC6 Crew Registration
Full Registration - Deadline: June 14, 2008
Crews who would like to register must complete the Liberty 2008 Full Registration Form and pay the Full Registration Fee of US$420 per crew to participate in the race. The fee includes full participation in the race, t-shirt and entrance and meal ticket to the Luau after the race for each member of the crew.
Please complete the Liberty 2008 Full Registration Form and return with check or money order to New York Outrigger by June 14.
International Crews
International crews may register by completing the Liberty 2008 Full Registration Form and return it to New York Outrigger by June 14. The Full Registration Fee of US$420 may be paid at the Registration Desk upon arrival.
Boat Loans
Many local clubs have generously offered their canoes to teams who are unable to transport their own canoes. A loan fee of US$300 must be paid to the loaning club for use of their canoe. Please indicate on the registration form whether or not your crew needs to borrow a canoe and we will make the arrangements between you and the loaning clubs.
Keiki Paddlers (Under 18)
Crews may deduct US$30 from the registration fee for each paddler under 18 years of age.
Free Agent Registration
Registration - Deadline: June 14, 2008
Individual paddlers may still participate in the race as Free Agents. Many participating teams are in need of free agents to complete their OC6 crews. Please complete the Liberty 2008 Free Agent Registration Form and return it with a check or money order of US$70 to New York Outrigger. We will send a confirmation that your form and fee were received and notify you when you have been assigned to a crew. New York Outrigger will not deposit your fee until after you have been confirmed on a crew. If an assignment cannot be made, New York Outrigger will return or refund your registration fee.
