New York Outrigger hosted the 2009 Liberty World Outrigger Competition on Saturday, June 27. One of the largest sporting events in New York Harbor and one of the premier outrigger canoe races in the world, the day long competition hosts hundreds of international paddlers and represents the best of the Aloha spirit. This year’s races included teams from both East and West Coasts, Hawaii and Canada.
